Default What should I do next?

What exterior mod should I do next?
Im stumped for ideas at the moment, Ive been thinking about chrome mirror and door handle but I kind of dont like the look of it after a photochop I seen.

Im trying to keep it as sleek, smooth anf flowly ride. Not a "get every mod" and it will look good type thing.

Oh and bodykit is out of the question, I manage to just scrap over bumps and get in driveways as is

Any ideas??

Body colour mirror scalps I thought but then having another look, kinda looks like you might be keeping them black to go with the window and rest of the trim?

What about modifying the ford badge at the front so it is red background, not blue?

Big V8 Supercar/skyline style wing on the hard lid???

Nah....I reckon it looks good as it is, but the full pursuit kit would look great, and is not that much lower than what you have now - it just squares it up a bit.

NO KIT lol

What about striping of some sort?
Ive seen a minitruck with one thick and one smaller white stripe over the hardcover and behind the back wheels. Looked the goods, this was on a yellow ute though.

nah ... don't so stripes ... it will make it look crap.

I did see a nice XR ute with the entire top of it black ... it then faded down into a burgundy/bronze colour ... with the scale effect in the paint ... had like a maouri tatto theme airbrushed into the tailgate .... it looked and sounded awesome.

This was around Mt Druitt as well ... haven't seen it again ... but boy did it look awesome.

How about painting the roof/bonnet/hardlid black ... and leave the rest red

Oh ... if you can ... do a darker tint petrhaps .... you are allowed as dark as you like on the rear window (as it is classed as a commercial vehicle) ... I have 5% on the back ... and 20% on the side.

No ... it wasn't his ute ... I know his ute well ... I see him on a regular basis though.

This was an AU XR ute .... was a much darker burgundy with some bronze through it ... and it was faded down nicely from black ... no pinstripe inbetween ... I give the painter full credit for the work ... would have been a hell of a job to paint.

Carbon Fibre bonnet? Black pin stripe around the outside? Red number plates? I can't think of many more conservative exterior mods left to do.

It all depends on how far you want to go.

My quick list:
Body coloured mirror scalps
Replace door handle to one without lock
Slimline (if avalible) numberplates all round in a different colour to yellow

More involved mods
Weld up the plugs in the tray from the tonneau
Grey grill mesh in grill, mouth and side areas (something dark but noticible)
I'm thinking a stipe in the body molds and the front bar, perhaps black in colour?

Thats about it with changing anymore parts though

Cheers

Off-centre stripes that go over the car (think Charger or something like the new Viper SRT10 ARC) would make it stand out. If your into that sort of thing.

Or if your pockets are deep enough, chopped roof. Saw it once on a ?VS ute, took us a while to realise what was so different about it.

Thumbs up

Colour coded mirror scalps and then nothing else. Sit back and enjoy it. It looks great!
