With the car off, insert key, turn to accessories (I) and press the trip meter reset button until you hear a beep and "voila" icon will be gone. It usually takes 7-10 seconds or so.
Cheers, GK

Yeah that's what we did, tried several times. Waited with odometer stick held in but no beep & spanner stays.

have you got the ignition on before you press the button or are you holding the button and then turning the ignition?

My AUIII Fairmont has never shown a spanner in the 120,000+ km I've had it. Was this deleted in later models or is there something up with my cluster?
(I presume the spanner is solely a service reminder and not a check engine light, so there would be no need for a shonky seller to disable it...) |
