Hey everyone.
Bring some more sad news. We were driving home from crown tonight and just near calder park where you turn off for the BP servo outbound there is a railway crossing. Coming up to it tonight about 11:15pm there were blue n red lights everywhere. got bit closer and seen a mangled car sitting on rail tracks and train sitting few hundred metres up the track. Makes me feel sick in the guts seeing something like this. REALLY hope no one died. Were flashing lights at this crossing but no boom gates so gotta wonder. Dunno what else to say. Glad i am no the one of the many ppl that attend crashes like this. Dont know how they do it. |

I saw this last night too and have scoured the online news sites today trying to find any reference to it but came up empty. Might be in the papers tomorrow?

I went past a bit after midnight and there was still a heap of flashing lights so they were there for a while.

Very sad. It amazes me how many people risk it. and try to beat trains. It just seems to be happening more and more.
