Turning out of Walla Rd wednesday morning at 7:30 am into Browns Plains Rd I made maybe a block in the bimmer when the black car behind me turned on his rotator lights and it dawned on me he was highway patrol , so usual checks and blow in the machine , it was mentioned that fishing was good in the am hours due to left overs and the normal thanks driver bye and take care . So its a black v8 Ford with a couple of transfers ( seen in Beenleigh Thursday morning) and more stops and officers are out early checking behaviour and drinkingafter the night before , personally I wont be driving after a binge for most of the day . That extra drink might get very expensive next day

Yep - good on them. They might not get the DUIers who make it home on the night, but they have another go the next day!

The more Police focus on Morons risking other peoples lives by DUI instead of someone doing 1-2km/h over the happier i will be.
If your going to drink, don't drive pretty simple formula for most people out there besides the F!*kt@rds. |

Haven't got a problem with it...good on them.
I'd rather see the cops out pulling over lots of people for DUI tests than hiding behind a bush trying to catch someone going 5kph over the limit... Then again, I work in an industry where we all have to maintain a zero blood alcohol limit when driving or we lose our job...wonder what the roads would be like if they did that to drivers? Lot emptier I'd bet... |
