Default Super Dooper Dusty Pads

Although this may not be of any help to people on here who probably would not use vavoline brake pads, just incase you get offered them. RUN!!!

I have never seen this much brake dust

The Valvolines are on the BACK of my wagon

And i have Bendix something somethings on the front.
Here is the difference
Bendix on the front

Valvoline on the back

Feel free to post your own pictures if you have had a similar experience with another brand so we know what to pick next time.

I have noticed with my pads on my GT, not sure what brand. When I had them installed, first few thousand K they were really dusty. But since they have worn in now. The dust seems heaps less.

I have bendix ultimates on the front of mine, they are super dusty and squeal a lot in slow stop/ start driving. Its probably lucky I have dark argents as it sort of hides the dirt, but I still have the wash them every week and really see the difference. I probs do 100 odd Kay's a week.

And I don't get that much dust of them ha

I used Bendix Ultra's (from supercheap) twice previous to the Ultimates. They weren't dusty at all.

But the Ultimates were almost triple the price, I only got them because I get them staff price through a mate at Repco. Too much otherwise. So yeah I guess I'm asking you aren't confusing them with Ultra's? A friends dad has them one his SV8 and they are super dirty aswell.

i had remsa pads on my previous MPS, mannnnn were they dusty, but they stopped stupidly well. almost fly through the windscreen lol.

the pads on my new commodore are the opposite, no dust at all.... pity they are rubbish and you have to stand on the brakes lol. time to upgrade to DBAs and remsa pads again!

I can second the brembo pads after about 100kms my wheels go from looking shine to a matte finish. Hawk ceramic ones going in when these wear out or when i get to sick of them.

might start getting the bums at the lights to wash my rear wheels instead of my windscreen

I've got the same problem with my gtp, drives me up the wall! The pads are still the ones from when I bought the car so I'm not sure what brand they are. I can clean the car on as sunday morning, go for a day out with the family and by the time we get home the rear wheels have enough dust on them to leave finger marks like in the original post. Very, very annoying!!
