Hey guys, was wondering if you guys could recommend a good mechanic in the south eastern melbourne suburbs (around east bentleigh/oakleigh) who is reasonably priced and knows there way around a ford?
Any help would be much appreciated The other cars in the family are all saabs who get serviced at a saab specialist and i dont want to take it there, so finding a ford mechanic is new to me.

North Road Automotive (in Murrumbeena - very close to you): been going to them for years, have looked after the GHIA for 5 years now, and the Mazda. Cannot speak highly enough of them:
PH: 9570 9422 (2 brothers run/own the business), to honest for their own good.

Liberty motors on the corner of wells & connel roads in Oakleigh
A small work shop , personal service , has a very loyal and happy customer base and the owner and his mechanics have a combined 70 years experience In his younger days the owner had a number of modified cars which he built him self He's not into that any more but there isn't too much he doesn't know and won't charge a Bomb either |

Hey guys, just letting you know i took the car into Liberty Motors today, couldn't have been happier with the service and for a reasonable price as well!
They have moved btw, and are now located on westminster street oakleigh. Can't recommend them highly enough! I also told them that they where recommended by people off the fordforums, so let them know next time you go in

Hey just thought I'd let you know I took the advice of this forum I went to liberty Motors,
Great mechanics, really friendly happy to sit down and discuss things about the car. picked up things on the car that 3 other mechanics must have missed in the last 12 month, including a roadworthy place... Highly recommend! |
