Default Reverse camera issues 2017 MD Titanium

Hi, I am into the second reverse camera. First one started failing intermittently 2 years ago. Ford replaced that one with no cost to me. I the last few months the second one also started malfunctioning for few weeks and then operating normally. I booked the service and was told that I need a new camera ( $1000 plus labour). I didn't go ahead due to the cost. After re-connection camera worked for 6 weeks, unfortunately 2 days ago failed again.
I watched few videos online when people replaced them with non genuine.
You can buy them from e-bay for around $65, or from Amazon for around $US 140.
US ones are for Ford Fusion 2013-2017.
Does any one know if they will be compatible with Australian Mondeo's?
They look identical to me.
I would like to replace it myself to save a lot of money.

Regards
Greg

They should be compatible as the Mondeo uses the same camera as the S-Max/Focus/Fusion/Fiesta.

Thank you russellw. I am still checking few wreckers, but I think brand new one would a better option. One wrecker quoted $300 with postage.
