Default EF auto problems

My EF has just developed a problem with the auto. When stopping, auto does not disengaged, torque convertor unlock and car shudders and stalls unless I manually change back into 2nd or neutral. Also when driving, changes from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, the Torque convertor locks straight away (revs drop down). Does not matter if in Economy or power mode. If I accelerate normally, car struggles until I push down on pedal harder, kicks back a gear and works normally until I back off, changes to 4th and locks torque convertor.

Any help would be good.

Check you are not low on fluid (does the EF have a dipstick), otherside get a service, filter change, and band adjustment, see how it goes.

How many k's it got on it, when was it last serviced (the auto I mean)

Checked fliud level OK (no dipstick)
240,000km, serviced at 220,000km

Problem started on Monday. Drove OK all Wednesday and Thursday. Happening again today.
Thought maybe something to do with power/economy switch.

Would resetting the computer do any good.

sounds alot like an earth problem, or alternator not putting out enough.

How / where do I check for bad earth.

What should the volts be for an EF charging correctly.

Does anyone have a wire diagram of the torque convertor clutch system As it works OK in 1st and 2nd gear, I am hoping that it is just a simple electrical problem. Must be a way to check, disconnect wiring and manually engage / dis engage.

Default Help still needed

Still trying to work out this problem. Is there a way to manually engage / disengage the electronic clutch lock on the torque convertor.

Default still no good

I have checked all connections (clean and reconnected) on auto, alternator, battery, eathing points etc. Still no luck. Even reset ECU.

As I do not have a workshop manual, what is the best detailed manual to get.

Help still required, car is drivable but now a manual when stopping. Need car to get to work each day.

Thanks.
