hi all, as i put a thread in about gear clunk a few months back i've had a number of things replaced by FORD{ new bushes every where, new tail shaft, and finally a new diff} all done on warranty thank god.but the clunk is still there not as bad but its there and sounds like it will stay there. ford were great nothing was too hard for them, but just have to put up with it .as i said its driving slow when you hear it so ill just have to drive it harder.thanks all great site, i will join your club soon just got to get bum into gear. :eclipsee_

Good that you are happier with what was done...
Oh well, maybe your beast is special since it has decided to keep the clunk : Why would you want to drive your car harder.... surely slowly suits it best e (joking by the way) :
