i must admit until I went to the site, i thought it was for EA's only, and i have been lurking around for 4 years.... It is only the domain that says EA the site itself has 'e-seires' everywhere
I can imagine there would be merchandise printed with ea.com though

This is something that has been in the works for a VERY long time.
Unfortunately, a .com.au address required us to be a registered club in order to procure it. That is, up until now. ;) As part of the move over to AFF, the admin staff here have kindly offered to register an e-series address for us. |

i like deleted link best. eafalcon.com is a bit crappy for everyone that doesn't own an ea. but it is a fair bit of stuffing around to change everything.. i.e. stickers, etc.

The club registration is actually not *too* much of a problem.
Where the issue lies, is that we are after national registration, not just a single state. Whilst this seems like it *might* be possible, it is something that requires further investigation. That and we've been a bit slack with it over recent times :P lol |

Yeah I agree deleted link would be more fitting for an e-series club.
However, as i'm an EA owner, eafalcon.com suits me just fine... : |

e-series.com.au is better if were to be changed, everyone writes E-Series and not eseries, so should keep as it would be written, just my opinion

WTF? We need to be a registered car club to buy an internet address? Last time I checked ebay.com.au isn't a car club, nor google.com.au, nor every other website in existance.

OK guys to clarify.
chicken, I think you'll find ebay.com.au etc are all registered businesses. There is some scheme in place so some fool can't register business .com.au names to try and sell them at a profit to the companies in question etc. My goal is to eventually have both deleted link AND e-series.com.au because it allows for people who may have slightly mis-read a sticker. EAfalcon.com will still direct to the site, but will not be the primary URL. Regarding Club rego, we are still discussing the matter. The main reason we were focused on it was because we wanted the new URL, but thanks to the generosity of AFF admin in purchasing the new URL it is less of an urgent priority than it was. |

ITs all good either way. EAfalcon.com leads back to the grass roots of the club. But then E-Seires.com.au is more representative of the club now, so its a much of a muchness.

And you have revived a 3 month old thread why? The deleted link URL seems to have hit an indefinite hitch but the possibility of acquiring eseries.net has opened. What happens over the next few weeks is anyone's guess.

because. a) i can do it. and b) i was looking at threads started by niko, and found this 1. because i had always thought it weird that an e series club had the site eAfalcon.com i posted. you can always skip past it. you're not required to read it.

well people's i have an ABN! if you guys need to register a .com.au domain name you can do it via one of my websites. Just let me know before you go ahead and register it and i will make the price back to cost price! Or just let me know which domain names you want and i will register them for you and can work something out later about the funds!
