Default Bluey Day

Bluey Day is on again this year with all money raised going to help children with cancer. I have been conscripted into the effort late this year, joking, actually was asked earlier this week, and will have my head shaved bald at Watergardens Shopping Centre this Saturday the 26th of August at 1400hrs. No risk for me as I am ugly enough!!

A big thanks to Chris Finnin of Bluepower for donating some of his hard earned dollars to the cause :newangel:

Gary

I would take you up on that! But Chris has been most generous!! He has a heart of gold that bloke. So I will give you a chance to reconsider. I would dye it blue for week and have hair sculpter write BluePower in the back. I would be working that week too!!

Too right!! I am quite apprehensive about hair. Have to get it bleached twice tonight, cannot shave it, then dyed bright blue and have "Bluepower" shaved in tomorrow!! And keep this for a week. The good boss (Senior Sergeant) has allowed this! e

What a sensation Job of turning our Redrum into Bluey for the next week

Unfortunately there was a change in appearance time and I missed out, but after tracking Redrum down, I can say with confidence the Channel 9 coverage tonight should be unique.

Poor bloke

Despite having my head in front of cameras missed out on appearance in front of tv. Never mind. The main thing is money was raised for a good cause. Thanks Gary and Chris. Both of you donated substantial amounts of money and have shown you are both great blokes with huge hearts!!!

I have heaps of pics!! As I have no real idea how to properly post them here I will burn to disk and get to Gary asap....... I crack up everytime I look in the mirror, is quite a sight :nutsycuck

Thanks man, downloading on pc now, just finished working van!!

Some pics sent. One of my hair after being bleached, rest of shave etc. Also pic of young Tyler, who featured on front of Herald Sun, poor little tacker, lost both his eyes to cancer. He helped shaved S/C Mark ZARUFA's head.
