whats an M3 worth?

I asked this question at another car forum so i thought i may aswell ask it here:
My soon to be father in law is selling his 2004 BMW M3 and whilst he is in Dubai for several months, He has put me in charge of selling it for him. He said anything over 95k i can keep. Its a 2 door coupe, leather, gps, tv, sunroof, the whole box and dice. Its done 32km's and has just had a 50k service (beemers have long service intervals apparently). It is quicksilver, has no scratches and is nice to drive (der). My q is what do these fetch in WA (or even over east)? Im not too cluey on beemers since i have been exposed to holdens/fords etc at birth and nothing this luxury spec. Will i make a few bucks in change from 95k or am i dreaming? Anyone in WA wanna buy a beema? lol. Any help appreciated. He bought it new for 165k i believe in 2004.

I would think those ks are pretty high considering they are a very expensive car and a lot of people only use them on the weekend, but I could be wrong. Put it as high as you want and see what bites. The longer it takes to sell, the longer you get to drive it pressuming you're allowed to

im allowed and its good fun, but im severely on edge driving the thing. Dont wanna prang it. Its very tempremental. It is an auto, but when it changes gear it changes like a manual. Like some invisable clutch is depressed and released when changing gears. Unless you put it in the full manual mode and just tap the gears down to change - then she bolts. 32,000km's a bit ya rekon?

Sweeeet!! I know of a person with an M3 and a 911 GT3 and I doubt both have even 5000kms on them. But then again could just come down to the driver.

If it has this little shifter, it's an SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox). Otherwise its a regular Six-Speed manual.

Just read your other post about it being an "auto." Yeah, its an SMG model.

32,000kms is a little high so realistically you'd probably get high 80's for it. Take a look at www.carsales.com.au for what others are fetching. Unfortunately there are a heap of them on the market in excellent condition so people aren't as prepared to spend extra coin for (expensive) options such as sat nav.

Take a look at the limited run (30 i think) M3 CSL that landed here two years ago for $210K... people are asking $130K for examples with 10,000 or so thousand kays. Ouch

If it was a convertible i could've sold it for you in a flash.. one of my mates is in the market for one.

Considering it's got a SMG transmission, it should be worth more. I'd say you should get a couple of grand over the $95k target. Advertise it for $105K-$110K and be willing to take high $90s
