Never seen them on an e-series before, but a few BA's have them and they don't look too bad. Chrome paint sucks tho, never seen any chrome paint that looked any good...

I'd been thinking that chrome mirrors on an e-series would look good. I'd really like to see this.

Here's the BA Fairlane ones

Yeah you can get plastic done, Im getting the interior handles done in the fairlane to look like NF/NL fairlane at the moment. Not sure how much retail costs as im getting it done through a client at work

To take the backs off the mirrors you have 4 clips behind the actuall mirror glass that you have to pop out with a flat blade screwdriver. Its a P**ck of a job to do

Most places that do electroplating should be able to do it. Have a lookin the yellow pages and ring around.

Another idea I was thinking of. How the upper bumpers and side mould are unpainted. I was thinking, I could get them smoothed off (ie. no chrome strip in the grey, just have them completely flat). Then the entire moulds and upper bumpers could get chromed. Probably out of my price range, but what do people reckon?
