Default First Car, Need Help!

ok heres the deal, finally saved up and bought my first car.......which obviously due to the area of the forums im posting in is a falcon futura AU 1998 model


well when i first received the car it was in pretty good condition for teh rpice i got it at!, but the battery was a dud and needed to be replaced...

anyways a mate did it for me, but foolishly forgot to keep the power supply connected, now the audio system doesnt work and it has the word CODE displayed, now how can i get around this pest!

driving with no tunes is quite boring, there is only so much i can tlak to myself about hhaha

You can't get around it. You need the code, either came with the car on a little white card with the logbook or papers etc, OR you need to pay $10-15 from Ford to get it. Just take the car in, they get the VIN and give you the code.

Make sure you take proof of ownership too if you go to Ford.

It will be a 4 digit code and could be scrawled in some odd place. Mine is written on the drivers sun visor and in the back of the owners manual. I can understand it in the owners manual but who writes on their sun visor?????

It's xmas soon, get saint nick to buy you a sound system with 16 12" subs and 6 amps and TV's in places you don't need them and an Xbox and GPS and neons and DVD and and and...i gotta stop watching MTV...
