What do think are the best ever guitar riffs?
A few I can think of at the moment are; 1. Back In Black - AC/DC 2. Ironman - Black Sabbath 3. Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple |

I'd get a couple of guys come in & one would do his version (full blast of course) & his mate would say " Naa , that's wrong , here I'll show ya " Mmm another version , another guy would say "Aww ya both wrong " Etc. Etc. I had to be nice about it as they were my Living . One Music Shop in Sydney years ago had a BIG sign " When playing guitars DON'T Play "Smoke on The Water & Stairway To Heaven" , I think it was called Harry Landis Music . Sorry to go O/T , now back to Topic XRchick = Yep , Fleetwood Mac (love most of their stuff)As Long as You Follow is my latest choice . XR6 Martin = Yep , November Rain DoorSlameR = Yep , Dire Straits MTV & Sultans of Swing One I Really like (but not well known) Snowy White = Bird Of Paradise Geesh , showing my age now , but I amaze my Kids , they'll be playing something and I'll "That's cool " , apparently Dads aren't allowed to like their music . Lol ,only thing I can't handle is "Techno" (oops Flame suit on Hahah) Norm

1. Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd. Dave Gilmour at his very best. Sends a shiver up my spine every time.
2. Smoke on the water - Deep Purple. A great band at their peak with Richie Blackmore in top form. 3. Crossroads - Eric Clapton. Raw and filthy, love it.
