Have laser KQ 2001 5-door model, when starting up for the first time (when the engine is cold ) car starts up without a problem, and will run till turned engine off, if the engine is warm it will not start up any more needs to cool off
things I have done: Replaced thermostat and belts about 5-6 weeks ago Battery is new as old one died about a week ago (old battery) Battery voltage is: no load 12.6Volts Starting 11.2Volts Running 14.2Volts Checked and tested petrol pump OK Problem started after replaced battery but I suspect may have been there and it caused battery fault will apreciate any help / hints what may cause this sort of problem : used: |

a guess coil or dissy problem leads or plugs fuel filter clogged/water starter motor ?? maybe if EFI there is a temp sensor on the inlet manifold related to the tps and engine management system this may be faulty if carby then petrol vapor lock if you are stop starting (as in going from place to place ) water and wet a rag and put it around the carby to get going again after cranking for a while ...

I don't see how changing the battery can have this affect :s
U should probly be looking for somthing unrelated like water in the fuel. Have u filled up at any old/no name peterol stations latley? |

Could also be leaking injectors, may drip/leak after turned off causing no/hard warm starts.
Hows fuel consumption been lately? |
