Default 1993 Telstar TX5 2.5

i have just gotten a 1993 telstar TX5 Ghia 2.5 auto. Less than 175000k's. I have found 2 probs wit it. going up hill it doesn't like exceeding 2000rpm and the 'door open' light doesn't turn off when all the doors are shut. Any ideas???

Im not sure about the rpm part of your question, thought I would say at a guess the door open light would be the hatch is still unlatched. Our Cruiser does this too when not shut properly ;)

may need looking at if EFI
the air flow meter
the TPS
the engine management computer
fuel filter and injectors

the pressure switches on the doors may have rubber covers that are old
the doors may not be closing with eneough pressure to turn each door switch off
