Default $100 18th Birthday present from my brother?

Hey guys,

I'm relatively new here, I've got a Wht '93 Falcon GLi that was given to me by a family friend a few months ago.

My 18th birthday is coming up on Nov 20, and he my sources tell me (my Mum) that he wants to get me something for my car for about $100

What should I suggest?

Cheers,

I've got a prefesionally made sub box for 2 12'' subs that came out of an ED for $50 if you want it

on a serious note im guessing that the car is standard? how about tinted windows, i think the tint preffesor does some pretty cheap deals now and then. Or some clear indicators for the front, they look heaps better than the standard one's

Love the tinting idea BUT, the website says:
ALL Sedans/hatches - $265.00 ONLY
(http://www.tintprofessor.com.au/tint...s-specials.php)
Unless I'm looking at the wrong price...
Definitely something i'll be doing in the future though.

And I'll definitely be getting Clear Indicators at some point but they're only $38 at http://www.twinlight.com.au

Lets keep these good suggestions coming! It's a hard one!

I got a $100 voucher for my birthday (september). Spent it yesterday on all new globes for the car. Narva +50's. They cost more than the voucher, but it certainly helped. I look forward to better night time driving soon.

NOS stickers, chrome hubcaps, Turbo badges, Cardboard intercooler print out and stick it behind the bumper?

Heaps of good ideas that give you some KW.

NOS stickers 5kw, chromies 3KW + weight reduction benefits, Turbo badges give you a nice 10kws ATE + a sweet spool sound.

Rather then post non constructive rubbish, how about a tool kit? Something that will be of use for ever!
Or if your car is in need of a service, do that!

Yeah or a torque wrench or set of spanners or something.. For big birthdays (18th, 21st) I'm all for getting something you'll have for many years.. Be nice in 30 years to still have it, and be able to say your parents got it for you for your 18th.

I'm with you Spooly a First Aid kit is a great idea.
Maybe go to Ford and buy one of those Safety Triangles that Keepleft goes on about then a defensive driving course paid for by his mates and then we would have 1 safe 18 year old EB driver :

Great idea!, but I'm already a volunteer with St John Ambulance so I'm definitely prepared...
As for the defensive driving course, we get a free one on my mums car insurance!

I've suggested that my Mum and my brother split for a Big Detail, int/ext under the bonnet, unless I find a better idea...

Love the ideas people, and as you can tell, I'm trying to make it hard for you guys

Nothing better than getting filthy while making your car sparkle
