In year 12 at highschol that was my dream car.
Great to see one still going and in the right hands. Looks A1 and will probably look even better after while at its new home.

Good stuff, a collectable of the future and a VERY sweet car.

(I remember an article I had of one of them at full tilt aroud the You Yangs proving ground. They said it sounded like an F1-11 approaching)

Cool. Wonder why it says EB Falcon at the top? I thought all SVO's were EA's?

Question svo badging

I am sorry I have never seen an ea or eb svo, so excuse the question, but are these cars just badged svo or is it like my xf - the SVO is actually molded into the body kit and the spoiler and the skirting, and does yours have the SVO also moldedon parts of the engine? just curious.
Also do you know if Mick webb still makes SVOs.?

Nighthawk - It's like the xf with svo molded into everything. The engine just had a sticker on it to say it had been opened and worked on at SVO Motorsport.

Exclamation Xf Svo

I had a talk with Mick web today on the SVO subject, and according to him the SVO name was registered by him, Dick tried to make/produce a vaiable product with fords permission/backing but with Mick having registered the name, he talked to Dick and tried to do a deal with him, Dick did not come to the party so Mick said stop or ill start sueing.

I emailed DJR today and basically said that i had sent his company 4 emails in the last 8 weeks, always been a ford man even gone so far as to have bought one of his cars, how come i cant even get a respone from them.

Within 5 minutes Steve chalker from DJR replied, i explained to him what i wanted, and within 2 minutes he replied saying they had no information on the car. Even though there is a big write up in MODERN MOTORS about this car with Dick next to it, and in 1999 there was also another car mag that showed all of the cars made by Dick johnson, and guess what the SVO is right there with them.Go figure. ing_sm

Two emails have been sent backwards and forwards between us and basically Dick has said through his managing director that he has no info onthe car or records. Peter harden and him have not talked to one another in years. So bottom line is no one knows anything.
Does anyone know how i could get in contact with PIRTEK ford. :
