Powder coat your Rocker cover (covers your Rockers). Or polish it.

I just painted mine with heat proof (engine) paint. Seems pretty OK to me, just hit it with HEAPS of wax and grease remover first.

Check mine out in the workshop section ('The Suave Futura Tidy Up') I painted mine with engine enamel. Works decently well, and costs about $15-20 rather than $100+

I dunno where $100+ comes from in the post above, I paid $27.50 for mine to be powder coated. Plus I think $30 for the 2nd hand cover so I didn't have any down time. I then got the old one done too, and sold it for enough to cover all my costs then some

When I rang around for quotes, I was given $100-150 to powdercoat my cover. I'm sure there are cheaper places around, but none that wanted my business.

Yeah I think those were one of the mobs I tried. Didnt seem that interested, probably why I got the high price, to fob me off.

I had mine powder coated ... came up pretty damn nice as well.
Whad a base and a top coated ... the base was a stin silver for the candy green to go over it. Made the Egas green look like crap really. Base coat powder coating is cheap ... it costs more when you get a colour that needs a base under it.

to paint plastic scrub the hell out of it with a grey scourer pad and some Ajax dish washing powder stuff(its in a green tin) to get rid of any silicon or oil based gunk and to score the surface for the paint to stick to
then plastic prime it.. then paint it with what ever paint you like(2pack is best but engine paint will probably be fine due to the heat the motor makes.. probably safer
