Default Who's To Blame?

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock(MADE IN JAPAN)
for 6am. While his coffeepot(MADE INCHINA)was perking, he shaved with his
electric razor(MADE INHONG KONG).He put on a dress shirt(MADE INSRI LANKA),
designer jeans(MADE INSINGAPORE)and tennis shoes(MADE INKOREA).After
cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet(MADE ININDIA)he sat down
with his calculator(MADE INMEXICO) to see how much he could spend today.
After setting his watch(MADE INTAIWAN)to the radio(MADE ININDIA)he got in
his car(MADE INGERMANY)and continued his search for a good payingAustralian
JOB.At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided
to relax for a while. He put on his sandals(MADE INBRAZIL)poured himself a
glass of wine(MADE INFRANCE)and turned on his TV(MADE ININDONESIA),and then
wondered why he can't find a good paying job inAustralia.....

His first mistake was to get out of bed at 6, after spending the night at the pub getting smashed, picking a fight with a local and spending 4 hours in the emergency ward.

Personally I would have set the alarm clock for 11.ooam, guaranteed to get a job as thats when most good paying Australian jobs are dealing, stalking or running from the cops

Good one!

I'm feeling bloody lucky I still have a job in Aussie manufacturing as the amount of stuff that's gone offshore recently is truly disturbing.

I've just recently read of Trico and Autoliv doing mass layoffs not to mention the whole Ion meltdown. Now U.P. Industries of C2R fame are facing difficulties.

I blame AFF for not allowing any Ford fans to get productive work done in this country.

Again you forgot to mention getting home and posting on AFF for a few hours afterwards then popping over to LS1 to cause some trouble there too, after all the fight was a Ford / Holden thing.

its the australian workers fault. if we didnt care about getting payed crappy wages and working long hours then maybe we could manufacture at a competitive rate with other countries.

Mate, are you serious!?!?! What makes you think you're Aussie only if you're white?? Also jobs going o'seas will mean less Aussie jobs no matter if your're white or not!

I reckon if dole bludgers were made to do this sort of stuff then we wouldnt have a problem. Note: Im talkn about the "bludgers" not the people who are actively looking for work.

I could not comprehend for the life of me how someone could bludge off other people and not get bored. In most cases you would get more money if you worked and you wouldnt be bored.

You'll cop no flack from me.

I'll try and say this as un racistly as possible. If honest skilled Australians cant find work, why are we importing migrants to make the competition even harder?

Well who else is gonna swallow the belief that trade unions are there to help you? :

I have some pretty strong views on limiting immigration but WAP, no thanks, I'd rather have admissions based on contribution to and willingness to participate in our existing society. WAP belongs back with its origins in last century Labour (yes it was labour then)Party policy.

Bout time the AFF politics padlock came by I think!!

I just wanted to get people thinking and maybe next time they go to buy something if they have the choice to buy australian, and IMO only if the aussie products are of equal or better quality(99% of the time they are).

Ohh the general cry of free speach again, never ceases to amuse me.

Racial comments never have, never will have a place on this forum, there are others designed for that need.

Hence our terms and conditions of sign up of which you agreed
