Default Cruize Radio going 80s

I've been considering taking Cruize Radio to a 'Retro Only' format, rather than the rock format we have currently, as I see a market in the 70s/80s genre that isn't being filled.

After reminiscing in the 80s thread I am pushed ever closer to this change. I think a 70s/80s station is more practical than just an 80s station, as it presents itself as more flexible to the listener. Let's face it, just 1980 - 1989 is a bit limiting when there was so much good stuff between 1970 and 1989.

1970-1989 sounds like the go.

Well, the decision has been made.

As of today, Cruize Radio is 70s & 80s. There are a select few tracks from before and after, but very few (basically the odd track from 70s/80s performers that are still going). Primarily it is now a 70s and 80s station, including the look of the website.

As time permits there will be spots created including audio segments from those great 70s and 80s TV shows/movies that will spark as many memories as the music....enjoy.

It's a webcast station, so over the internet?

NightHawk is already a member of the Cruize Radio forum, so I'd say he is taking a shot at the AM/FM stations in his region.
