just wondering if a ED XR6 Diff center would fit into a EF GLi diff??because i curruntly have a gli diff because my old diff packed up and i can get a LSD center out of an ED XR6.
i thought i remember reading that the GLi and XR diff's were the same except for the centers??

if u change the complete centre then yes, it'll be LSD.
they're both 28spline, so the axels will be fine. the tail shaft will bolt upto it. i'm sure someone else would know more about it.

it will bolt straight in. You will also have to change the pinion gear though. Just make sure you use the shims that were in the GLi diff and don't swap them left to right either. However you pull it out, put it all back the same way and ONLY swap the center and the pinion gear. And yes it will be LSD.
