Default 0-100kmph E-series Times

I noticed they've started a thread in the Au forum for 0-100kmph times. So just wondering whats everyones 0-100 times for e-series??

my car is doing 0-100 in 8.2seconds (g-tech).. keep in mind though its not running too well with blowing smoke... and burned through 7.5litres of oil since new years.

mods are wade 1004 112 cam, pacemaker extractors, 2.5 inch exhaust, xh snorkel, bmc panel filter, thermo fans... and a t5!

If you have a Calder or heathcote ticket you can work it out.

Just enter your 660' ET and MPH into this calculator and you'll get a time as accruate as a GTech.

http://www.tweak3d.net/videos/calcs/sixty.shtml

We worked out Thanatos does a 6.32 in the EA....bloody quick!

Just did the same for Brendans 13.618 pass at Calder (havent got the times for the 13.4 pass) and got

Input 1/8th mile track time: 8.679 (in seconds)

Input 1/8th mile trap speed: 80.25 (in MPH)

Your 0 to 60 MPH time is approximately: 4.85

I'll try and get the 13.4 second pass data today and see what it works out to. It had a similar 1/4 MPH so the 1/8 time must have been flying.

660' - 10.279
mph - 69.72

0-100 = 7.61 seconds..

We should have a G tech mini meet. Sounds as good a reason as any to have a cruise.

Ive got one in Canberra if anyone is interested. Only ever tried it when it was stock and got 15.8 with a passenger, changing into 4th when I should have left it in 3rd, with a with 10yo dizzy cap and rotor, and at 600m altitude (makes a few tenths difference apparently).

I cant wait to get home and find my timeslips, I reckon my times would be inconsistant with this formula. I got raped by John's EF and Yagz' EL to about 60km/h but pass them after that but before 100. I dont see how it would work for me.
