Default Flat Spot

Just replaced the head gasket recently and upon the first drive found that the car has a huge flat spot while taking off. when you put your foot down it seems to gargle for a few seconds and then get its **** into gear.

i had a look under the bonnet and found a blue clip that comes out near one of the coolant hoses. its almost the same as one of the clips that goes onto the injectors. its covered in dust and i dont remember taking it off.???

Does anyone know if this had anythin to do with the flat spot? Or know whats goin on???

Cheers Willsy

"I would say the fuel/air mixtures (AFR's) are not correct. When you boot it floods (flauds) Does it happen when you accelerate slowly?

My guess would be a rich AFR. When you give it some it may take the ECU a second to work out what's going on before responding. Your injectors may also be a bit dirty.

Change fuel filter? Injector cleaner and 98 Octane fuel? It's good to start with the simple things.
