Default exhaust is sounds tinny

hey i got advance extractors and a lukey 2.5 inch straight through exhaust on my eb when i first got it done it sounded really good when accelerating it still downs good, but when down gearing instead of doing nice exhaust crackles it sounds really bad and is giving me the S@!ts does anybody know how i can fix this the exhaust is only a couple of months old.

not sure its just a stocky thats what i thought it might be i might take it out and bash the honeycomb stuff out then weld a pipe in, it will look like its got an cat but it will just be straight through

should get a good high-flow cat, but then a gutted cat is still alright thats what i run, the only problem with it is that it runs pretty rich

turbo muffler, bugga cats, there all the same, unless ur really kickin out some power, then go high flow cat

i rememeber having a problem like that
turned out to be the flange where the headers and the cat connected(i think)

be carefull gutting it that has asbestos and is highly cancerous

The catalyist in cat-converters isnt well, a life increasing substance. Also, gutted cats, grow up people

look i dont care bout the fines or what substances cats contain all i want to know is how to fix this problem it might not be the cat has anyone besides gozza got any USEFUL information

thers no use crying when you spend 500 bux..then go awww it doesnt do anything righ! ooohhh...if you do a mod(this is what i tell everyone)do it freaking RIGHT!
twin into 3 NO resonator (so you get that sound) and there ya go..but ya gotta make power.......to go that setup ..if u dont wanna go the power..buy a magna or summin geezuz stop bothering us here

not everyone has a 5lt tommo.

and id just look at getting a new standard cat installed, going a hiflow is goign to make the car a fair bit louder than it is

again people like tommo who doesnt have useful info oh wait but tommo knows everything if i brought a 3 inch i would loose power coz it woundnt have back pressure now would it
