Cowra, Canowindra, Cargo, Orange, have been both ways but this is easily the best drive. Nerandra up to forbes etc is ok.
No real bad spots just the usual stock on road , Normal driving around 6 1/2 7 hours.

Theres a heap of blokes on cruise at bathurst on sunday only 40 mins from orange if ya finish early. go home bathurst, cowra, wagga.

Cheers Kevin

I remember when i was last out there ... there was more of a cruise scene in Orange than Bathurst (I think Bathurst people drove out to Orange at night to cruise).

I Lived up there for many years, If you want a nice quiet drive go Wagga - Temora - Bribbaree- Grenfell - Canowindra - Cargo - Orange. About 3 hours will pull it up and it's a nice drive. Alternately you can go Temora - Young - Cowra - Canowindra - Cargo - Orange, about the same time but not as quiet and the boys in blue keep a close eye between Young and Cowra.
Regards,
Tote
