Hello everyone
following on from my earlier topic, i was arrested christmas night after being chased by an off duty police officer in fremantle while she called back to the station to have a paddy wagon come and arrest me. charge - failing to indicate. i was locked in the paddy wagon and spent 2 hours back at the station. now, today i receive my court papers to find (no surprise) important information left out and wait for it.... lies the breif i receive said i was observed by police and spoken to about my driving and fined. it doesnt mention anywhere being chased around for 30 minutes by an off duty cop in her own car, failing to identify herself to me, having me arrested and put into the wagon, and taken back to the station and put in lock up. i feel these details have been left out to help them look better in court. does this help me? and what do i have to say in court :S

Get a solicitor x100. You will not win if you take it on yourself, it is their word against yours.

Ford Forums is great for car advice, it is not the place to be asking legal advice though. The wrong advice may be given.
Seek the advice of a Professional Solictor ASAP. Good luck with it all.

Now it will just look like your doing it because you have to go to court. Contesting your innocence from the very beginning goes a long way when theres a paper trail. |

No ...... I would be getting a solicitor.
Not really a topic for Forum legal eagles .... unless some one has the correct degree they can PM and offer assistance ..... but I think majority rules around here. Good luck with the case ..... and see a solicitor ..... please!
