Hello All,
I have a 1991 EB I Fairmont Ghia and would very much like to replace the standard fan with a thermofan set-up. I would like to find someone who could do this work for me as I work shift and don't have much time, nor mechanical apptitude to do something this complex. If someone knows of a person who can do a good job in the Parramatta area I would be very much appreciative. e |

I have no doubt that it is more fun to do it yourself, but as I said I have no time as work is consuming most of my time at the moment :

I personally think it's a pain in the *** getting the clutch fan off, just hope I never have to do it again.
I guess an auto electrician would be able to help you out. I suggest getting a thermostat switch installed aswell, so they only run when they need to. You also need to make sure your electrical system will be able to handle the extra load, I think my two thermo fans drew about 20amps while they were running. Hope this helps, Ash. |
