Default Simple Carsales question

I have a simple question about Carsales. What is the difference between "dealer: brand new" and "New car"? Is the former cars in dealer stock while the latter is cars that have been ordered by a dealer but have not yet arrived?

They have changed the descriptions: It is now "Brand New Cars Available," and "Brand New Cars in Stock." Self-explanatory really, the first is cars that are potentially available, they can either order or may have coming in, and refers to models rather than specific cars. "In stock" is actual individuals cars that are already at the dealer (or at least counted in the dealer's stock.)

Brand new cars available is just a model preview, doesn't mean in its in stock or ever going to be. They need to update it.

Yes, the "new car available' doesn't really seem to mean much as you have to enter your postcode which says to me that the enquiry isn't about a specific car, but one you have to order. It seems a bit pointless to me because the ad doesn't tell you anything so I may as well just ring my local dealer instead.

I had to ring carsales today because my profile was set to NSW, but my ads were showing as located in Victoria, despite a 2000 postcode. The phone call took 2 minutes, but they couldn't fix it via email.
