Yeah, I don't know know how everyone else drives but I had RDA's on my AU sedan and now my BF ute.

Didn't mysteriously have all sorts of braking issues, life threatening experiences or in fact anything at all.

I get that there's "brand image" held by DBA but all I want is something that stops my car.

We are referencing big heavy cars with big performance brakes and the ability to have the odd bit of safe fun on your favourite twisty bit of backroad country stretch and for many on here, the odd track day . I've had stock Brembo factory rotors , RDA replacements and now DBA.
The RDA didn't last as long and they were heavier units. Their ability to vent and keep temps down wasn't as good , demonstrated by earlier brake fade all other things being equal. So yes, for a standard car with standard driving you wouldn't tell the difference. But when push came to shove, I'd leave the RDA on the shelf every time and wouldn't bother with them.... just my humble opinion after using 3 different brands on my GT.

DBA was solely made here ,..not anymore ,the higher end discs still made here, RDA were never made here and were generally crap ,however things have improved over the years imo still not in the same league as DBA's ,I have always fitted DBA's to my cars and had fantastic results ,.slotted DBA's with Ferodo DSP pads provide good bite and decent service life.

don't know if this PDF is up to date...

but if it is, looks like the cheap DBA's are made overseas.
