Anyway the engine is in the gaerbox is mounted now is the fun part the its injeted and im trying to sort out the wiring for the ecu as it looks the engine loom is all wired up to the engine the dizzy, injectors, sensors are all plugged in the loom come off that and goes to the ecu where there is a relay by the ecu and a map sensor is this normal for a eb v8 loom ive looked at a eb fairmont and it looks different so any help would be great

V8's dont run a MAP sensor, it could be a barometric pressure sensor, which early E-series V8's ran.

It's difficult to diagnose the problem, what is the actual problem? The only thing I can suggest is to get all the looms from an EB pre-smartlock V8 and replace them all.

Yeah its wierd the whole loom seems to be there but it like the loom goes from the engine to the ecu and this four terminal relay and looks like a three wire map sensor well it has a hose for a vaccum line anyway and two orange wires two green wires and a red and a brown free at the ecu which have been cut it has the big engine cover like the ebs but seem to have no plug on the loom for the airflow meter has anyone got a wiring diagram for a eb v8 engine that would be a graet help or know where i can find it :
