XR8 fronts belong on XR's!

Put a Fairlane front on it.

ltdho: mine will soon have a el xr front, with a auts50/t3 bumper and some kind of scoop. ;)

If you want the xr lights, I believe twin lights are very soon to be making them to suite fairmont/fairlanes. Check out their site, I think there is a pic on there.

Go for it. Just as long as you put the chrome strips in the bumper, I reckon an XR front on the Fairlane would look good

Twinlight has a website, I'm pretty sure it's just www.twinlight.com.au They advertise in SM magazine occasionally.

Will look sweet I think

Yes i know you can change the globes but glass is clearer (twinlights) than the std plastic fairmont headlights Thus more light

I was told that you can put the falcon twinlights that they make on with some cutting of the light moulds and removing the front plastic cover between your lights under the bonnet.

When they do come out they will be $750

yer go for it mate
i recon it should look horn;)

get a tick kit to while you'r at
i now you can get ticky side and rear skirt's for wagons (think the length between front and rear wheel arch's are the same distence as the lane's)

and with a bit of modifying it'l look sick as

I must say, I'm all for being a bit different but I'm not a fan of the combination. That said, it would probably grow on me so I'd say sit on the decision for a while to make sure it’s what you really want.

he said he already has custom XR8 side skirts and rear bar so all he'd need is the XR8 front, tickford front lip and it'lll look mint.....
being such a big car, i think it's going to need some very nice rims to set off the look..... something 19".....

Streeter, can you chuck up some pics of how it looks now? i'd like to see it with the skirts....

Looks absolutely awesome.
That'd be a sweet looking cruiser, with plenty of room for the people in the back.
