Default over speed

Dose some one know how the Speed Limter works on a EL factory gas ..
1 : Dose it cut the Fuel Pump off
2 : Dose it cut the Injecters off
OR do both ...

Cheers

The PCM cuts the injectors to limit vehicle speed. So Im assuming on LPG there is no way of limiting the speed.

Factory gas on pre EF's doesnt have a limiter, so i'm assuming it is a fuel cut thus only works on petrol... EF/EL's run a different mixer, but I'd assume they are also unlimited...

Yes Sorry Guys I did not make myself Clear .. I was in a bit of a rush to get going and just typed what i wanted and did not explain myself ..

I have a factory dual fuel EL BUT as i have changed the diff ratio I hit speed limit all the time on Petrol .. I am working on a new fuel system a.t.m. and i was just wondering if at the 160km dose it cut the injecter pulse OR dose it stop the fuel Pump .
I have done a quick search and come up with nothing ..
I was hopeing some one here might know for sure what happends..

Cheers

Ok, I assume due to the quick reaction of the speed limiter, that the fuel cut is at the injectors, not the pump. Cant be sure, but it doesn't feel like the fuel pump because i would think that it would surge slightly with some small amounts of fuel coming through the injectors still, where-as the cutoff is instant...
