Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone has done this? I know about the Sump cutting required, but wondering what other mods need to be done for the Serpentine, etc? Do all of the EF accessories bolt upto the AU engine ok? Regards |

apart from sump everything else should be pretty straight forward
pretty much all accessories are interchangable ,the aircon may need work and check ignition setup on both is same design ,trigger ,sensors etc just use a AU block and head with your ef gear |

do you know the best way to modify the sump to fit? I know you have to cut and weld, but is there any tutorial on exact measurements? When you say check ignition, do you mean coil pack, etc? It's an EF XR6, so should i put the XR6 head into the AU block, or leave the AU head on there? |

You will need an AU alternator. And an AU drive Belt.
I modded my k-frame and its still going strong 5 months later. I found you will also need to run premium as all i got was pinging when running NA with just the AU motor and an exhaust. IMO, it is better to mod the k frame as the AU sump is designed to transfer strength in the bottom end.
