the other is a low income bonus i got that one as well

the third one is the tax releif on that does not get handed out till the beginning of april that is the one he is fighting

There's a High Court challenge at the end of this month against the Fed government by an individual relating to the Commonwealth's authority to hand this money out.

Maybe it will have to be handed back like the alcopop tax if this guy wins.

$900 will go straight to the credit card or if i pay it off before then, ill chuck it on my personal loan. although work is a little rocky, maybe i should keep it just in case I'm out of a job...

see what happens

of course the nut job trying to stop the package going through, via the courts... if he does that, then he can pay us all the $900 himself!!! he's probably ****ed he's on $100,000+ and doesn't get a cent.. :

I like how this joker, says it's "Un-constitutional" to hand out the money.

What I can't figure out, is all the pollies agreed to allow the stimilus package yet this turkey, who speaks for himself (just because he cant get the package), thinks he has the right to speak for the PM, the opposition and 20 odd million people.

My thoughts are that it's "unconstitutional" to challenge such a package where the main parties involved allowed this package to pass.
If it was un-constitutional, why hasn't the Gov General stepped in, as this guy thinks it goes against the Crown's judgements.

I'm glad "majority" rules in cases like this (not). If it was wrong altogether, why the hell did all the Pollies accept it? Though the opposition had issues, it was passed the second time round. Even the dykehead Xenephon agreed to it, after the Murray Darlin Basin was given more funding.

well logically thinking , you dont get money for nothing . anyone who thinks it's free , my thoughts are , think again!!!!!. i really think the money would be better off going to public healthcare and education . that benifits everyone more than a free handout that will be most likely paid back 10 fold by everybody, including the unemployed .

there is no such thing as free money. - REALLY !!!

Dont be silly, it didnt come outta our pockets, it came outta the Smokers and Drinkers pockets, they get slugged so much, they can afford to hand some back to us, anyways, Im gonna be helpin the economy with mine, go get a decent 4b carby to wack on the Clevo, that way I can use more fuel, burn more rubber, get more fines, rebuild my motor more often which in turn, will help stimulate the economy, not to mention the missus, into a rage....

I would quite happily pay double the medicare levy (1.5%) if it meant the government could do a dental medicare. As a last resort free dental for all school children (not uni students) if possible.

yes for low income earners ,and not giving us ( higher income earners) anything .taking away the ivf subsidies its not a lot they give us now .

I don't want to get into a debate over the perceived better lifestyle they think i have ,i pay 40 g plus in tax and get no benefits .and any we get are slowly been taken away.

I am happy subsidizing the lower income earners but why take those benefits from those that are giving the money to the system . soon it wont be worth doing my job ,as i was or would be better off earning less .

Always giving with one hand and taking more with the other .

well that is perfectly an example of what the govt wants . you get $900 free to go back into society. lets see . thats about anywhere from 5 to 10 visits . keeping people employed . then the guilt, and a visit to the sex clinic . then blood tests and /or std treatment, followed by counsilling sessions, and perscription medicines from the chemist , followed by possible split with your partner, and a trip to a solicitor , then maybe a house sale , asset split, bargain sell off , garage sales , car sales , and 2 people looking for rental properties , and finally continued financial followup arrangements , and bank fees .
just think how many jobs , that $900 has gone to keeping multiple people employes , stamp duties , and gst payable .

you'd be one of RUDD'S favourites . really keeping the country employed and utilising services . keeping perhaps upto 50 people employed.
