Yeah was a Japanese company that cast it... is slightly different to a GT40 manifold though. Was one of the differences between the GT and the ED Sprint motor too..

It was made by either Yamaha, or Honda.
I remember reading it somewhere.

I know that Yamaha did some of the work on the Early Falcon Alloy heads, but i think Honda cast the GT manifold.

OK since its a bit hard the answer is: Showa Corporation

Why they used it is beyond me when the GT40/Cobra would have been good enough.

From memory is was actually quite expensive.. hence why the Sprint had the cobra manifold
