If that is the new Commodore wagon and assuming that all goes well, I see a fast drop in Falcon wagons. It looks very nice from the back. But the body doesn't look Holden. Looks similar to a Mitsubishi Wagon. So once again, it's a case of waiting and seeing.

Station wagons are cars built for a purpose -for carrying stuff. They aren't made to be showpieces.

I think the Holden wagon looks fine. I don't like the rear of the Falcon. The rear window looks retarded and the back lights are also not to my liking. Pre-AU wagons were fine. Used to have an old XF. Sold it to some lady who wanted to pull horses.

Holden had the SS wagon. I reckon that looked great although I would never buy a wagon. To me there is no point in owning a wagon unless you have a use for it. It does however offer a person with the use for a wagon but wants the looks/performance of a sedan to have a choice.

A B series XR wagon would be quite good I reckon, if for nothing else for cosmetics.

Utes are built for carrying stuff. But look at all the crewmans, SS and Pursuit Utes out there. Why not tart up the wagon like the Europeans do?

I agree. I have always like the bulk and balance of the Holden Wagon. But I must say it is confusing that a car company capable of designing the attractive Territory, with its chunky, bulky rear end, is happy with their effort on the Falcon Wagon. What a mess! That rear end is bloody awful and doesn't suit the front. Even more noticeable now there has been a facelift.

Wanted to pull a horse in its float...oh wait...that still doesn't suffice. The float would be a little sticky.

She wanted a car that was able to tow a float where a horse would reside when being transported.

The only VE`s I`ve seen in the flesh so to speak have been a White and a Dark Grey Omega- man they are dog ugly imo. Mate has ordered an SSV I hope its a huge improvement on the base models

I have owned a VE Calais 6 litre for the last three weeks. It is noticeably a better car than the previous model. I didn't much like the ride and noise of the six, but the eight performs very nicely.

I saw a Clubsport R8 about 1.5 hours ago. Looked nice in the flesh. I still think those little vents near on the front-quarter panels front look crap though.

But it looked pretty good.
