No ky here. I use the good old Black Gold, Texas tea. Honestly though something needs to be done about this. The oil company bosses in their penguin suits need a wake up call. I know you are sitting there thinking "What can i do". As a individual, absolutely nothing, but as a majority maybe we can get some attention.

Its had attention, nationwide.

The problems start when you try to get into the proprietary information of the various oil co's. Not records like an audit, but pricing strategies and other internal stuff.

Competition is supposed to keep prices at fair market value (thats the system), sad when theres really only a few competitors in the market. An oligopoly isnt any better than a monopoly. It sure as hell isnt a fair market.

You'll probably find that the price is being overinflated now so when it comes to Christmas they'll drop it 6 or 7 cents and everyone will think its great.

Look on the bright side someone is going to get an extra billion dollars for Christmas.

(approx) December 20 average price $1.60
December 24 average price $1.53

Then the oil companies will turn around and say

"We told you we weren't fixing the price see it even went down"

Of course that downward price will still be higher than what we were paying in October.

Default Fuel Prices

The thing is people,There is no need for fuel to be at this price. There is heaps of oil available, according to the the people who have it.It's just our leaders want to keep the price at an inflated level.Lets start another war.Ha Ha . I'm joking, I'm just a dumb V8 lover.

i know that servos are ripping us off as my mate works at a servo up the road and they were refilling all the bowsers and we found at least 4 inches of water in the PULP tank no wonder its evaporating in the tank quick.

same thing at nearly every servo supposedly, theyve put water in all the bowser tanks.

Easy. Saying "I dont care how much petrol goes to really....The amount of entertainment and enjoyment i get out of my cars is simply priceless" tell us all he has to spend his money on is his car and now meaningless things that Women want us to. Such things as Food, clothes, the kids, the house...etc etc..

I don't know why people complain about petrol being like $1.50 a litre when other important fluids are insanely more expensive.

Take Johnny Walker black label for example, about $40 for only 700mL!!! I wish it was only $1.50/L.

On a serious note though, I really hope it does start to drop soon, I just filled up at $1.33 a litre, on cheap day - what happened to Tuesdays $1.26/L?

Also, out of interest, can somebody post when fuel was last under $1/L, either from memory or from records? I'm trying to remember how much it was when I first got my p's (start of 1997) and was in my Corolla, but really have no idea.
