Well, lets just say that was fun.
Dash removal was simple enough, bulb changeover was fun, found that some of the blue "We call them T5 but they're slightly larger" globes were spreading the holders out too far to put them in the holes they came from! So I used some cheaper T5 blue LED's, and all they did was light the tiny bit of the dash that they were directly behind, they had absolutely no spread on them at all. Back to normal globes that actually work. So, after all this forum thread, and all my effort today, I still have a bog stock standard dash light setup. And I was looking forward to driving it tonight. Yeah, I'm real happy! Anyone know of any DECENT T5 LED's, that are actual T5 size and fit in the holder without spreading it, that actually have a decent light spread?

I used white leds. Filed them down with a grinding stone to frost them. Perfect.

Well I just discovered tonight that me moving the dash about and stuff broke the filament in my one remaining Odomoter display globe. I'll have to get some normal new ones of these, anyone know what type to ask for when I head out tomorrow?
Also, I put the two central blue LED's back in when I pulled out the dash to check the Odomoter lights, my speedo glows blue, the rest are normal. Looks killer!
