Somehow got conned into a cruze down to Portland to see the fireworks with 4 scantly clad girls. So wasn't a bad night, me, my car and the open road.

spent the dying seconds of 2010 in the street
saw my ex-girlfriend
Got her mum to drop me off at teh club
Mates walk out of the club as i got there and said it was **** (and these guys love the club :\)
So caught a taxi back to my ex girlfriends place

Spent NYE at a Penthouse Apartment in the city, out on the balcony sinking beers until 2/ish. Brilliant view of the building that completely obscured the fireworks for us

Was a good night though, low key, beers and friends. Solved all the problems of the world but forgot to take notes.... oh well, guess I'll do it again next year.

Had a BBQ at mine, ended up having a little bit of blood in my alcohol system...well few of us did.

We all sat in the back yard yaking and watching the fireworks go off at different people's houses.

Crashed out at 3.30am and didn't chuck (which I normally do on NYE).

So a night how I want it, good food, good company and no morons to deal with.

Went to a party at a mates place, sunk a few beers and had a few laughs, cheesy 80's videos on a projector out the back - there's something about seeing a Holden Camira ad with them doing jumps that just makes you laugh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vv20cp4coc

After a few beers, sunk a few Wild Turkeys, before I crashed out I made sure I drank a metric gallon of water, and today I feel fine.

It was a good night.

I was half expecting to waste today away, sleeping, waiting for the headache to go away.

Instead, I'm wasting today sitting at the computer, reading AFF and having a few laughs! Was up and doing stuff at 9:30 this morning, now after a night drinking that's pretty damn good for me!

So how many of you are saying this today?

Mrs didn't feel like doing much as we've had sick kids for the last week, she went to bed @ 10pm & I kept drinking & was on here, facebook etc. Then watched the local fire works & went to bed.

Pretty lame NYE for me, but no hangover!

Spent the day with some friends, couldn't ask for better weather yesterday. They had their supply of alcohol which I did join into. It was the first time I've actually being drunk, but I made sure I was going to be sober by night time when I walked home because I planned to not miss out on seeing the local fireworks display at midnight.

I'm glad I did leave them too, because they were becoming a little messed up over each other as they continued to drink the heavy stuff. I saw some awful sights earlier on when I was still drunk too, not a good way to remember the last day of 2010. :(

I'm normally just sitting at a mates place having a few quiet ones on NYE but this year I was actually at a NYE party for a change. So at midnight the karaoke machine was left alone (yes there was karaoke unfortunately) and we watched some of the local fireworks along the Mornington Peninsula in the distance.

Then it was back to drinking and karaoke for another couple of hours.

Played Guitar Hero 5 alone for a couple of hours while everyone was out.

About 11.30 my parents came home, and we watched the fireworks on tv.
Had a shower after that and went to bed.

Was at work when the clock struck midnight....
Only bright side to that was I had front row viewing platform looking directly onto the massive fireworks display in Docklands Harbour.

Would have rather been up at my place on the Murray with my wife and kids, drinking and watching others set off fireworks....

Went out a mates property and setup for the night. Started drinking at 10.30am and didnt finish til about 2.30am. Had good fun doing the usual new years celebration burnout and killing some tyres. Although also smashed the crap out of my rear quarter :-(. Then another mate got his EB falcon out and killed a set of tyres. Then my little brother had made some home made fireworks so we mucked around with them for a bit and used other methods to make some big bangs. Other than that sat around downing beer and doing some evil shots. Wasn't too bad for what it was.
