what type of red should i paint my xr8?

My old XD ESP was Monza Red so I'm quite partial to it but I've thought about it as my wagon (Le Mans Red) might get done one day. One colour that has caught my eye is the metalic red on the latest release of the focus - don't know what it's called but looks great when the sun hits it.

I fell in love with Salamanca Red when my mate had his HQ painted that colour. Damn Nice shade of red.

Nothing wrong with Monza red.
Another shade that I thought was nice is Porsche Guards Red.
Candy apple is Sensational but depends if it suits the car I reckon.

I prefer the solid colours on EB-ED cars...you can still have great depth and it will look absolutely fantastic when done properly.

Otherwise, my vote would be for Vixen as on the FG GT earlier in the thread, looks delicious

this is my old eb. not sure what the factory colour is called, but it is a metallic although nowhere near the fleck that modern cars have. slightly darker than seduce. don't think its sparkling burgundy as i thought that came later. it still looked good though and is a factory eb colour.

My EB Fairmont 5.0 was that colour.

i didn't think rosewood was metallic. i've sold it now so can't check code on build plate. i did look it up out of curiosity at one stage but can't remember what it was.

Looks much like cardinal red eb gt colour. one of the reasons i bought my latest eb looked very close in photos to eb gt colour. couldn't belive it got it 2200km home and its eb gt paint code cardinal red lol couldn't belive my luck as i'm building a gt mock.

Mazda H3568 red pearl is very nice other than that what about ford deep cherry , difficult to apply in new hands but both produce a deep luster and shine in the paint of your choice
