is it just because its Chinese?

The reviews I've watched make it stack up very well, they say build quality is good.
Its not for me but I'm not going to slander it because of that

regardless of how well they are selling Competition in the marketplace is good for the consumer.
As I posted there is far,far better vehicles out there on the "pre-owned" market.Chery was withdrawn re safety concerns. Great Wall was also taken off the market,but... I am led to believe is coming back. Really cannot see this thing being of any threat to the Japanese & Korean brands. They are really going to have to pick up their game.

Never left here, and this is only a country dealer.

Actually it was taken off the market in late 2014,their sales took a massive dive after safety concern's with the ute & asbestos in their brake pads.A lot of dealers handed back their franchises & a lot have been reluctant to take them on again. They "relaunched" with their "premium" brand "Haval" but as yet no ute.It is expected back this year with a different distributer."Ateco" was the old one.It is expected that Great Wall will do it themselves.I have not seen a "new" Great Wall ute at my local dealer in at least 12months or longer.

Car sales> Great wall > Year made (High to Low) Newest result 2014.

That dealer must be selling new 2014 model cars that they couldn't sell in 2014.
