i daily drove a 4 crew cab f350 in nyc when living there. im sure sydney will cope remember australia has plenty of large trucks that manage, and if the driver of a american ute can't fit in =a woolies carpark im sure he will be ok walking a little distance

I think you've missed my point, when it was RAM making a case of the full sized ute the usual suspects rolled that out as an excuse as to why they'll never take off, if Ford offer the F150, those concerns will disappear overnight and it'll be the greatest thing to ever happen to Australia...

It's not a like-for-like product, but this would be about the only way to 1 up / neuter the Cruiser. Look what Ranger is doing to Hilux.

I was in a newer car park in Frankston a little while ago and my inlaws Skoda Octavia only just fit.
Anything much bigger would have a real pain. Not that would ever stop me from owning a particular vehicle. I suspect anyone who can put down $100k on a vehicle would also have a second car for shopping center duties.

I think maybe the problem all the Yanks will have will be parts availability compared to the Tundra,should Toyota start selling here.One reason why Toyota is so popular Aust wide is easily obtained parts.Another marketing tool for Toyota is their overall reliability,something which Americans can’t really boast about.Yanks seem to go for bells and whistles which aren’t always on the wishlist of a lot of buyers
