Semi-conductor shortages could potentially go nuclear with 80% of the worlds neon gas coming out of the ukraine. Apparently needed in the production of computer chips.

Yes many people have also lost their current car, plus ones they had on order. I know one Toyota dealer in Northern NSW lost 250 cars, most of which were sold.

Tesla don't report their sales number but we know from 2021 they sell around 900 per month. It puts them on the scoreboard and growing daily

Yep and the feedstock for the gas purification comes from Russian steel mills iirc

Couldn't make this stuff up

Being a model nerd, I just coughed up for one of the last big scale resin ships made (well) by a Russian company, I'm watching reserves that have sat in online western hobby shops for ages begin to wear thin. No idea if/when new stock will be available.
