No point, a lot of XR6 owners here replace it with the stocko one and gain power.

I guessed that it was from the workshop manual.
The cam is a straight swap, the rocker gear is almost identical. The lifters are different, which is why I changed the rocker gear, cause my old lifters were stuffed.
But there has been no problems with the car at all in the week or so since, it's running really well, and it's quiet now.

its probably ed/ef cam - why not send it to wade and get them to turn it in to a 1004-112/114 for you. Itl cost $120 or so and you will definately notice a difference.

Hello guys im new. So if you fit the EF/EL cam do you need to fit the other EF bits like the lifters etc and the EF rocker cover? Can you just shove the EF cam in and close the old bits over the top? (I have a NZ built EB2 which runs well enough except for drinking fuel like its coca cola)

Yes, you can put an EF cam straight in without changing rocker gear.

Thank you Psycho. Does the cam aid fuel economy as well as torque? Just curious.

I don't remember noticing a difference, though it was almost a year ago I did it.
