they are only 4 and half years old and people think 40 grand cheaper than what it first came out is too expensive. they are nice looking cars and i love the thought of the torque so down low. although i still think the ba gt is a better looker, if my dad had to get rid of the gt because of finances then i would urge him to get a t series if he could find one because they look cool, have plenty of torque and are alot rarer then any ba/bf

Yeah... i was thinking of selling my T1, but not for what they say it's worth.... Don't use much any more cause of a company car, but for those values it can sit @ home in the garage with the car cover over it... might take it to church on sundays :

Hands up how many people on here, [Or anywere] have seen these things getting traded at car yards, & on sold as a second hand car?? Well ??? NOT MANY so weres the sales data!!

Sales are driven by demand. Ford F%^&ed the Tseries from the start. & now this is the flow on effect. Put simply, know one knows what the hell a T series is...

That red book is rubbish & most people know it. Its the car yards way of saying what your trade ins worth.

Glasses Guide has them at a compleatly different price. So which one do you take notice of ?? Hmm [sales data again]

These cars are worth every bit of 25Gs If a true one [not a fake]& new it would have been about $65000+ on the road. So 25000 for a 65000+ car is good in anyones books.

What other car can you buy for 25Gs that will give the performance, excluciveness, & stand out in your face looks, a T3 does? NONE

And dont say an XR6T or BAXR8 because they are great cars,, but simply not a match for a T3, for the resons I have already outlined.

If anyone is interesrted in these cars go get one, for soon there will be none left on the market. You can beleive it or not. But its a very good buy..
Yeah i understand, i just think the whole second hand car market for V8's is totally screwed, and its got nothing to do with the quality of the cars or models, its just a bad time to sell 2-6 year old V8's full stop. I got stung bad with my AUIIXR8, i bet im going to get stung when i move the BA too!
Its definately a buyers market, you can just about name your price if someone is desperate or has to sell. The reality is people can advertise or ask whatever they want for their car, getting someone to pay it is another thing, Its frustrating if you've got a car coming out of lease..

Yep thats about it mate. The car dealers are there to make money, But its our money there making. Then Ford turn around and complain that the retained value of there product is so low.. :

I can understand why anyone who bought a V8 ford new (or near now) recently would be unhappy... but for a second hand car connoisseur such as myself its fantastic!

I've just put a deposit down on a Series I TS50 almost identical to FRDTUF's at a very reasonable, sub 20k, price. Sure I'm ticked off that its only going to continue to loose value, but being able to drive one everyday means more to me than its re-sale value.

All things going to plan I should have it next week.

Red book values are:

Private Sale: $18,000 - $21,300

Trade: $14,500 - $16,300

Red Book 2002 TS50 Auto
That T3 is still brand new , 40thou on the odemeter , the day will come when these great cars will rise again and be highly sought after.

The only thing I have never liked about the Tseries is the boy racer interior but otherwise I think they are awesome.
