I've bought a set of EB tail lights of JADED6 simply to have them converted from orange to clear just to see how they would look. Trouble is, I'm not sure where I would go to convert them? Any ideas of what kind of business would do it?

Well bugger me, those photoshops look awesome! Not 100% sure about them on a white car, but to me they have alot of potential! Fairmont one looks a bit weird to me too, but hey, it's different and still looks kinda cool. Did someone say do a Gli that isn't white? I'd like to see that too

THe tail lights done in those pics have been done before.
It was on fordmods.. but it seems like the thread is gone.

It was a matter of pulling the lights apart (you needed 2 pairs) and braking the clear section from the orange section and rejoining later...

can't find the pics either :/

If anyone wants to try the experiment, get a spare stock EA indicator and chuck it on the roof of your house for a few months. In fact, I have a spare...

EF/EL ones are readily available in WA although I doubt they are legal as they have clear rather than red reflectors.

Well, bringing up a thread from about 6 months is ok, but not 2 years. This thread was from before clear taillights were created for e-series. There have been plenty of threads since then on the matter. Also, if you do threadmine, at least say "Sorry for the thread mining but..."

I've seen a couple. Mainly ELs and a few BA's. In my opinion more of a mod for loser commodore drivers in hackham where the altezza lights and canon muffler are worth more than the piece of **** VN theyre hanging off...
I rekon the best thing to do is either leave the tail lights or tint spray them as I have. I think it looks cool and you can do it as dark or light and where you want!
