Hey it was 1974 and I was 10. Loose women, fast cars and Smokey and the Bandit was still years away

Why is it always Dodge Chargers being wrecked in US movies and TV series :

An old one that sticks - Carrie (the orignal). I saw it as a kid and jumped when the hand came out of the grave. Saw it a 2nd time and a friend touched the shoulder of a girl in front right at that time.

I am into happy endings mainly.

I didn't mind the Sixth Sense ending though. Being only year 9 at the time I saw the film at the cinema, I couldn't see the forest for the trees in terms of making predictions.

I like the ending of Trading Places. I love seeing Randy and Morte get with they deserve.

I also like the end of The Castle. It represents the lower-middle class of Australia fairly well.

Hmm...I thought Gladiator's ending was quite weak. Sure, he dies, but that lady made a rather pathetic little speech at the end. I didn't like that. Plus I feel Russell Crowe is a rather crappo actor. But please keep in mind, that is merely my opinion.

agree that all the saw movies had great endings.

has anyone seen Hostel. How good was the ending in that!! not so much in terms of twist - but in revenge! had me punching the air and yelling out encouragement - something I've never been moved to do in a movie before.

Quite easily the grossest movie I saw last year...

I can't remember the ending in it though.

Hostel one of the best movies ive seen for some time. Gory thrillers are usually such a disappointment (naked college girls aside, there comes a point when you actually seek a clever plot, interesting characters and some blurring between possible/reality/fiction).

Some serious "ouch" moments in that flick.

And yes - the end was great!!!

Fight club prob one of the greatests twists in film history.
