Sorry, but I just don't keep up with these sorts of rules in other states as it does not impact me.
I'm sure there will be exemptions for turbo diesels, or the ruling will be based on power-to-weight ratios. Dunno, haven't read up on any of it.
Fair enough doofey.

You should upgrade to either an SS or XR6T. I had an N/A 6cyl and sold it because it wasn't fast enough.

It would be mighty stupid of the politicians to ban a young person from driving say a 1980's turbo diesel Landcruiser, or other similar boxes on wheels. The only reason they can go forward is because of the turbo. It doesn't matter that it could plough through a house because of the torque, it'll be going so slow that people will have time to jump out of the way... I'm reminded of a certain scene in Austin Powers featuring a steam roller and an evil henchman...

If I had to go back to N/A it would kill me : I'm pretty used to the power I have now but every now and again it suprises me.

I get over things pretty quick but MEH better than having the TX5 powerwise so can't complain.

I went from a 97 excel 5spd to a 02 au3 xr8 with mods to climb it up 2 beating ba xr8s on the quarter and the insurance went up 900 big ones. Your better off keeping the xr6, cause i dont think you can drive an xr6t on your p's in vic.
